Emergency Dental Care

Dental emergencies can occur at any time and usually catch people off guard when they do pop up.  They can happen when you are eating, playing sports or just going about your daily routine.  But because they are unexpected, we leave space in our schedule to accommodate those patients experiencing a dental emergency.

We treat all the following emergencies and more:

  • A chipped tooth
  • Mouth sore
  • An abscessed tooth
  • Mouth swelling
  • Avulsed tooth (which is a tooth that has completely dislodged from the bone)
  • A loose crown
  • Tooth pain
  • A loose baby tooth

If you are experiencing tooth pain or anything that does not feel right, don’t hesitate to seek treatment.   Very rarely do these things resolve on their own.  And it is better to see a dentist than to go to the emergency room or to an urgent care clinic.

If you have children, a good thing to have on hand at home is a Save-A-Tooth kit which can be found online.  If your child’s adult tooth is knocked out, you can simply drop it in the container found in the kit.  This works better than milk, as the kit is made to preserve the tooth until you can get to the dental office.

Call us today for help with your dental emergency.  We welcome both existing patients as well as those who are new to the area or those who don’t have an established relationship with a dental office.
